You can’t always get lucky and find a group of people who encourage and push you to do better, but that’s where choice comes in. If you waste your time with people who aren’t productive or goal-oriented, you won’t develop that "Do It" attitude. The same way a cub becomes what its environment allows, you, too, are shaped by your surroundings. Without thorough research, even the most creative ideas can fall flat. Consistency is equally critical. It’s not enough to have one great design—you need to keep pushing yourself to deliver high-quality work over and over again. Design is an evolving field, and trends shift rapidly. Staying relevant requires a consistent effort to improve your skills, stay inspired, and push your creative boundaries. Consistency also applies to maintaining a design style and message that resonates across all your work, building a recognizable and trustworthy brand or portfolio.
